It was 2005 when Artist Jim Gary held his last Exhibit at "Tycoon Art Gallery" Manasquan, New Jersey. Plans were underway for a 21st Century Tour of Jim Gary's Art and an agreement was reached between Tycoon and Jim in which rusted artwork would be restored at the expense of Tycoon. Numerous video tapes of past exhibits from damaged VHS tapes were given to Tycoon by Jim to be restored and transferred to DVD, with exclusive rights given to "Tycoon Galleries LLC". In December of 2005 Jim was in an auto accident and a few days later suffered a stroke, he died January 17,2006 a sad day for all who knew Jim. Needless to say a successful Exhibit ended too soon but Tycoon at great cost restored the record of past exhibits with one purpose to continue to let the World know of "Jim Gary an American Icon"
